Documents Required for Indonesian Citizens in 2023

The Indonesian passport is relatively a strong passport that has access to more than 75 countries visa free or visa on arrival. However, Indonesian citizens must carry some documents required by most countries from incoming travelers for tourism purposes or business purposes. The following documents should be kept while traveling to visa free countries and visa on arrival countries for Indonesian passport holders.

  1. Passport valid for 6 months
  2. Return or onward ticket
  3. Hotel booking for the entire stay
  4. Cash $50 per day
  5. Visa fee (if applicable)

Other than these documents, some countries have specific document requirements for Indonesian citizens. Therefore, I strongly suggest visiting the official website of the country where you plan to visit, so you can get the latest entry requirements for that particular country and you will get hassle-free entry to that country with an Indonesian passport.
